Ankles take the force, with repetitive strain. Tendon’s stretch less and load more. Energy Economy reduces, with more strain moving to the ankle from the knee.
Traditional recovery options look to take as much load away as possible, with heavy arch support and a transitional heel-to-toe pitch. The intent being to let your feet stop supporting themselves, for the sake of recovery.
But with feet, the strain never really disappears, it just moves north.
