In collaboration with Julio Colon III (iA), MULE 1 is a reinterpretation of the classic loafer and its iconic seam. The surface tension on the "seam" is inspired by the sculptural work of Agostino Bonalumi. This surface tension mirrors the sculptural tension of a body in motion; the tension of skin stretched across bone. Move with grace.
